Help with Annual Report?

@coreteam is anyone interested in helping with our Annual Report? This important document covers what we did in 2025, from financials to programs to the construction progress. I need a couple people who are interested in writing sections, editing, or maybe doing some design work on the final doc. Would want to get this done by March if possible.

I think this is a neat way to do this, and maybe fits with Garrick’s idea that we get some more people to see the makerspace as it gets built. Maybe a meeting at the space, talk annual report and tour around the construction? Have some bites?

I’m opening this to the larger group - does anyone want to help with writing the Annual Report? We’re going to keep it simple this year, with just a digital page reporting on a few subjects.

If you’re interested, here’s what this would look like:

  • You’d find a section or two you want to write
  • You’d write a draft, asking questions as needed to get the section together
  • We’d assemble around March 4th, and meet to review the draft
  • We’d do some final edits and then publish the page online

Sounds like something you want to help on? Pick a section by replying back:

  • Statement from President (Mark)
  • Summary about the makerspace we’re building
  • Summary of other events we did and impact to the community (Gala, pottery paint nite, birdhouse night, educational booths, etc)
  • Financials: chart of funds raised, donor and sponsorship list
  • What’s in store for 2026 and beyond

Hi mark, I could help out with this over my spring break March 9 - 13. I’m not free the entire week, but have been planning to contribute a few days to WCC work/volunteering
