Has there been any progress with the large Cannon printer? @mzocher or anyone else who has played with it.
I have some photos I would like to print at a large scale if possible.
Sadly no. I tried direct with Canon to see if a tech could replace the slides, and they said there’s no one in the region certified to work on the Canon Colorado line of printers. So we’re going to have to figure this out on our own.
I’m going to have to (sadly) cut our new wall to get it up and in the printmaking studio, but hopefully we can get it in place soon and then get some new drawer slides to work. Nothing crazy, but I keep having other things that are taking up time to work on. Sorry @paul ! How soon were you wanting to print them?
It’ll be over kill for the October 1st date that reminded me that this printer exists, but it would be a good excuse to get it running.
Do you have replacements for the slides or are you planning to bodge it together?
